St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is a 64 bed hospital located in Ogungbade off New Ife road Ibadan. St Dominic Catholic Hospital is the vision of Dominican Sisters of St Catherine of Siena (Italy). We offer various medical services such as: General medicine, internal medicine, O & G, Laboratory, Radiology, to mention just a few. The hospital is run in collaboration with foreign partners. We are registered and licensed by the Corporate Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Health. Also, we are accredited by the NHIS as both primary and secondary health care providers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Gardener
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role.
• Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety rules
• Ability to handle a range of horticultural machinery and powered hand tools.
• In-depth knowledge of plants and gardening techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations.
• Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, wetting of fowers, managing weed control and leaf raking.
• Maintain a clean garden and compound by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.
• Provide guidance to management on matters related to the garden.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.
• Plant and nurture new trees, flowers, and various plants.
• Work with hand tools and basic light machinery such as grasstrimmer, lawn mower, and small diggers.
• Service all garden equipment and machinery.

Salary
N30,000 - N40,000 per month.
