Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the factory microbiology laboratory.

The ideal candidate will perform the following:

• Monitors hygiene of processing lines and their environment to ensure good production start-up through required micro analysis monitoring.
• Maintain food safety awareness and ensure strict compliance at all levels in the workplace.
• Maintain the factory's commitment to prevention of environmental pollution via the provision of resources and materials in line with the departmental impact and aspect.
• Review and improvement of KPIs on monthly basis
• Maintain food safety awareness and ensure strict compliance at all levels in the workplace.
• Responsible for timely circulation if microbial results and regular update to management
• Lab data management and inventory control.
• Maintain a robust reagent inventory of lab items for smooth operation.
• Establish sampling plans and procedures for in house lab and ensure timely dispatch of samples to PTC.

• B.Sc. Microbiology or Food Science / Technology.
• Analytical and diagnostic ability
• 1-2 years operational experience in a related role in the food processing industry.
• Organizational and communication skills
