Buhler is the global specialist and technology partner in the supply of plants and services for processing grains and food, consumer foods as well as for manufacturing advanced materials.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Grain Processing Innovation Centre Technical Trainee

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Start: Immediately

Tasks

During the 2-year program, you will be trained on the below-mentioned tasks:
Compliance with processes, procedures, and tools.
Storage and labeling for equipment and supplies.
Ensuring smooth workflow by following production planning.
Maintain the safety standards within the workspace.
Carry out basic machine maintenance.
Install, inspect, start-up, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
Perform routine maintenance of the hardware and software.
Ensure the quality of the activities is carried out as per Company standards.
Coordinate with internal and external customer technicians during startups or maintenance jobs.
Promotes products, services, and other activities to the customers.
Ensure the required transparency and efficient customer service and support.
Ensures that client data in CRM is up to date.
Any other related tasks assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Automation Engineering.
0 - 2 years of experience in a similar industry.
Good communication skills in English and Hausa.

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of food safety.
Ability to work in a matrix organization and in international engineering teams.
Ability to collaborate with other team members in providing support to the customer.
Willingness to travel.
