Mamaland Foods is a new foodtech startup company specializing in vertical value addition on indigenously grown foods and groceries. We do thesethrough scientific research using standard processing methods and processes. We make our foods and groceries appealing, acceptable and cost effective to both the rural producer and his urbanand diaspora (global) consumers, and markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Grants Writer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs, and financial needs of Mamaland Foods Ltd.
• Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
• Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.
• Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.
• Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of Mamaland Foods Ltd.
• Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval.

Qualifications
A Freelance Writer is required, hence we are careless about the prospect's paper qualifications. Nevertheless, the following certifications and skills are pointers to a candidate's professional competence:

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher in English, Communications, Creative Writing or a related area
• A minimum of two years experience in grant writing
• Strong research skills and knowledge of information sources
• Multitasking, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential matters with the utmost integrity
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Excellent knowledge of proposal submission and fundraising process
• Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the organization

Remuneration
Pay is either a fixed wage or commission; negotiable and very good!
