Health4You Initiative - Nigerian youths face numerous challenges that the current education system must address adequately. The challenges, though, significantly impact young people's well-being and the actualisation of their life goals, but can be mitigated through early interventions. To achieve this, the Health4You Initiative delivers scientifically proven solutions to mitigate the negative impacts of challenges faced by Nigerian youths and equip young people, parents, and those working with them with the proper set of skills to provide early intervention and help navigate life's challenges more effectively.

Through our various projects, we work with young people to enhance their competence in various domains and build their capacity to address the challenges young Nigerians face more effectively. To achieve our aim, we seek collaborations with organisations already working with young people and design and deliver training, workshops, and interventions that improve the experience and lives of young people.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Graphics Designer

Location:  Remote

Job Description

• The purpose of this job role is to work collaboratively with our team to develop engaging and interactive graphics and videos for our online training project.
• The project focuses on equipping educators in Nigeria with the necessary skills to identify and prevent mental health challenges in schools, deliver appropriate interventions, and enhance the quality of service they provide, ultimately improving the life outcomes of young Nigerian students.
• This project currently comprises 36 topics, which will be shared among graphic designers and delivered incrementally over six months.
• The topic broadly encompasses mental health, safeguarding, violence prevention, health and safety, gender and equality, and some basic interventions. You are expected to create appropriate graphics and videos that align with the themes.
• You will report directly to the team leader, who will serve as your line manager.

Location:

• Remotely, but could arrange a catch-up with the rest of the team if available in the exact location.

Person Specification

• Candidates should possess an OND, HND, Bachelor's or Master's Degree with 2-10 years experience.
• Must be creative.
• Must be proficient in creating static and motion graphics.
• Must have experience working with or knowledge of the Learning and Development Department.
• Must have access to their computer and be able to work remotely, effectively utilising Google Workspace.
• Must be a good communicator and responsive, be able to collaborate with the rest of the team, work using their initiative, and follow instructions and the project plan.
• Must be able to deliver high-quality jobs while meeting agreed deadlines.
• Must be able to produce reports and have presentation skills.
• Must be highly motivated and reliable and have a good remote work ethic, with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Must be proficient in using Synthesia AI or other related tools.
• Must be proficient in using graphics software.
• Must be able to create illustrative, interactive and engaging graphics from notes and training materials.
• Must be able to identify or research the issues that affect young Nigerians.
• Must have excellent research and creative writing skills.
• Must have experience working as part of a project team.

Salary
N600,000 for the duration of this project (Paid in monthly instalments and subject to approved works)
