Job Title: HR Administrator

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Human Resources Management:

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to align with the organization's goals and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including creating job descriptions, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Manage employee performance and development processes, conducting performance reviews and implementing training and development initiatives.
  • Address employee relations issues, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment contracts, and internal policies.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to extending job offers.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including online job portals, social media, and networking events.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate suitability, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Employee Benefits and Compensation:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to ensure the organization's compensation packages remain competitive and fair.
  • Advise management on salary adjustments and incentive schemes.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate or deliver training sessions.
  • Partner with external training providers to ensure employees have access to relevant development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.

Administrative Support:

  • Oversee general administrative tasks, including office supplies management, travel arrangements, and facilities maintenance.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and conferences, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HR and administrative activities.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to HR and administrative functions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management regarding HR metrics, employee engagement, and administrative activities.

Employee Engagement and Relations:

  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages employee engagement and teamwork.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives and activities to foster a motivated and satisfied workforce.

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.

Job-Specific Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrate leadership and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office applications.

Salary
N4,000,000 - N5,000,000 annually.
