Initiative for Improved Humanity Foundation (IHF) responds to humanitarian crises, helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 2021, but duly registered with CAC 2023, IHF was borne out of the burden to improve lives of the downtrodden; especially women and children who are usually the most vulnerable in the society, and to impact on humanity in general. IHF offers lifesaving cares and also life changing assistance to the less-privileged in the society. With interventions in over 40 communities in Abuja and with plans on expanding her humanitarian works to other states in Nigeria and globally. IHF restores sense of dignity and spark ray of hope to millions who are despondent. IHF advances the way from harm to home.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 



Job Title: Human Resources/ Admin Officer (HR)

Location: Life Camp, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Major Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the development of IHF recruitment strategies, implementing systems for managing IHF staff benefits, leave, payroll and compensation, management of IHF staff behaviour, onboarding new employees into IHF, managing staff performance, training & development at IHF staff, management of every talent in IHF, enforcing IHF policies and practices by ensuring full compliance.
  • Provide organizational structure at IHF
  • Developing IHF work plan, reinforcing the work ethics, culture and values for IHF staff that will meet the organisation’s needs by effectively managing the employee lifecycle.
  • Be in charge of planning, directing, controlling and organizing the affairs of IHF.
  • Profiling of IHF staff payments, compensation and benefits
  • To ensure periodic training of staff for personal & organizational development.
  • Compliance and workplace safety.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Degree in Human Resource Management, Administration or Personnel Management or in any related field. Having extra certification in this field will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle a large and dynamic workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite such as Excel, Access, Ms Word and PowerPoint etc.
  • Demonstrated Managerial/Leadership Competencies
  • Must have the spirit of honesty and diligence to work.
  • Ability to be able to organise and manage people and resources in order to get optimum productivity
