Mary Dinah Foundation is dedicated to achieving Zero Hunger and reducing the morbidities and mortalities caused by malnutrition globally. To achieve this United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), we continue to provide daily meals to underprivileged families including Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) living in conflict zones, infants, pregnant women, people living with disabilities, people in hospitals, care homes, and mental health institutions.

Job Title: Personal Assistant
Location: Lagos

Position Overview

  • We are seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant to provide proactive and organized administrative and personal support to our CEO.
  • The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a wide range of tasks and responsibilities with precision and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the CEO's calendar, ensuring seamless scheduling of appointments and meetings.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, emails, reports, and other documents on behalf of the CEO.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Exercise sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Organize and maintain electronic files, ensuring easy accessibility for the CEO.
  • Act as the primary contact for individuals attempting to reach the CEO.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the CEO.

Skills and Competencies Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience as an Executive or Personal Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Enthusiastic, imaginative, energetic and creative approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Uphold discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • A resourceful team-player capable of working independently.
  • Demonstrated success in multicultural environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
