International Relations Officer at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the Premier Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria. It was incorporated in 1950 as a non-profit making organization, Limited by Guarantee under the Companies Act of 1948. The primary objective of the Chamber is to promote, support or oppose legislative or other measures affecting trade, industry, commerce and agriculture as well as representing the opinion of the business community on the above matters in particular, and the economy as a whole.

Job Title: International Relations Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Head/Director

Responsibilities

• Sponsorship drive of LCCI Public-Sector programme.
• Provides support for the annual LCCI States’ Investment Summit.
• Provides support for the annual LCCI Diplomatic Luncheon.
• Manages relations with Embassies and Consulates.
• Organization of LCCI delegates for International Trade missions.
• Marketing LCCI International Trade Missions.
• Documentation of LCCI International and Public Sector Programmes.
• Management of LCCI relationship with international institutions.
• Provides support for the annual LCCI Presidential Policy Dialogue Series.
• Provides support for the annual LCCI Security meets Business Series.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Social Science / management / Arts disciplines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Persuasive, proficient in the use of Microsoft offices and possess event management skills.
• The Job holder must have skills in visa processing, protocol management and digital marketing skills for the promotion of events.

Experience:

• 3 years cognate experience in Protocol management, diplomatic relations, visa processing, event management and marketing.
• ICT Skills MS Offices and proficiency in the use of ERP software.
