Job Title: Entrepreneurship and Soft Skills Instructor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  • The job role involves facilitation and lecture of Entrepreneurship, leadership and other soft skill courses. The role also requires administrative responsibilities that should be carried out when no courses are available for instruction.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and Lecture learners /trainees on Entrepreneurship and other soft skill courses
  • Design effective assessments that meet course objectives
  • Handle any administrative tasks that may be assigned by the Chief Training Officer or Training Administrator
  • Ensure marking schemes for assessments are fair and reliable
  • Training progress reporting

Qualifications / Requirements

  • MSc / BSc in Management / Entrepreneurship / Entrepreneurial and Business Management or any other related subject
  • Other professional qualifications related to the subject
  • Must be computer literate
  • Minimum of Two years’ training facilitation experience

Job Title: Project Management Instructor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  • The job role involves facilitation and lecture of Project Management courses.
  • The role also requires managing all DATI’s training programmes as projects in conjunction with the training administrator.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and Lecture learners /trainees on PMI courses
  • Facilitate and lecture learners/trainees on Project Cost Engineering
  • Facilitate and lecture learners/trainees on MS projects
  • Organize DATI’s training programs into executable projects using appropriate software
  • Design effective assessments that meet course objectives
  • Ensure marking schemes for assessments are fair and reliable
  • Training progress reporting
  • Manage projects for the company.
  • Handle any other tasks that may be assigned by the Chief Training Officer or Training Administrator.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • MSc / BSc in Engineering / Project Management or any other related subject
  • PMI and Prince II certifications are desirable
  • Must be computer literate
  • Minimum of Two years’ training facilitation experience.

Job Title: Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Instructor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  • The job role involves facilitation and lecture of Information and Communications Technology courses and other IT software courses.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and Lecture learners /trainees on Information and Communications Technology Appreciations Course
  • Facilitate and Lecture learners/trainees on Autodesk Courses – AutoCAD 2D & 3D, AutoCAD Electrical
  • Facilitate Lecture learners/trainees on other Engineering Software
  • Handle DATI’s graphic design needs as required
  • Design effective assessments that meet course objectives
  • Ensure marking schemes for assessments are fair and reliable
  • Training progress reporting

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information and Communications Technology or Information Systems Management
  • MSc in Computer Science, Information and Communications Technology or Information Systems Management
  • Autodesk Certified
  • Minimum of Two (2) years experience in a similar role.

Key Skills / Competencies:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 356
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoDesk Courses – 2D, 3D, Electrical, Civil, Highways
  • Very Strong Design abilities
  • Proficiency with other engineering software desirable
  • Excellent Communications and Presentation Skills
  • Proficiency with graphics design
  • Ability to design effective assessment that meet course objectives.

 

 

 

Job Title: QAQC Officer / Facilitator

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The job role involves the maintenance of the quality management system of the organization.
  • Evaluate, advise, draft, implement and monitor organizational procedures and ensure quality standards are maintained by all staff.
  • The role also involves carrying out Internal/External Audits.
  • Instructing and facilitating ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 45001:2018.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of the organizational quality management system
  • Create quality standards/objectives and procedures in conjunction with departmental heads and monitor these against targets.
  • Conduct regular performance monitoring
  • Perform internal audits to ensure that quality management systems and organizational procedures are followed and adhered to.
  • Manage the organizations document control process
  • Identify non-conformities and ensure they are closed out
  • Monitor preventive and corrective actions and ensure closeout
  • Carrying out audits for third party companies
  • Facilitating and training of candidates on ISO 9001: 2015
  • Facilitating and training of candidates on ISO 45001: 2018.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • Certified lead auditor
  • Minimum of Two years experience in a similar role.

  • Excellent understanding of process approach to quality management
  • Document Control as well as Corrective and preventive actions management abilities

Job Title: Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Instructor / Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The job role involves training learners on Occupational Health and Safety courses such as HSE level 1,2 &3 and NEBOSH IGC - IG1 & IG2.
  • It also involves carrying out other safety related activities for DATI which include but are not Limited to HSE audits, Emergency Drills, Safety Briefs for all training program related activities and to proffer solutions to all safety issues relating to DATI

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and Lecture the HSE level 1, 2 & 3
  • Facilitate and Lecture the CIEH Occupational Health and Safety Course at Introduction, Foundation and Intermediate
  • Facilitate and lecture NEBOSH IGC and HSW courses that DATI has been accreditations for.
  • Design and administer appropriate assessments used for evaluation of trainees
  • Ensure that assessments are aligned with the objectives of the course and are fair
  • Develop marking RUBRICS to ensure fairness.
  • Implementation of the organizations safety policy
  • Carry out safety audits
  • Carry out emergency drills
  • Conduct safety briefs on behalf of DATI during meetings and other programs
  • Responsible for Occupational Health and Safety of the workplace

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in the Biological / Chemical Sciences, Engineering, or related fields
  • Must be NEBOSH IGC certified
  • Any other HSE certification would be an advantage
  • Must be computer literate
  • Minimum of Two years’ experience in a similar role
