Job Title: Head of Engineering Unit

Location:

Job Description

  • To leads a team of engineers/contractors in the execution of their day-to-day activities in order to meet the goals and objectives of KAP, and ensuring KAP’s service commitment to customers are met.
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring field engineers work output is at par with the KAP’s pre-defined standards.
  • Coordinate 24 hour 7 days a week, technical activities of field Engineers.
  • Maintaining a database of ALL Infrastructure and Maintenance dependencies with escalation trigger points to clients where necessary.
  • Liaise with client staff, contractors or independent service providers as the need arises,
  • Ensures report and presentations are developed accurately and rendered as at when due.
  • Analysis of Reports on Team/Contractor performance in the light of Service Level Agreements as well as in line with IHS Nigeria Standards.
  • Timely Analysis of requests from internal and external stakeholders under assigned business area.
  • Ensuring and maintaining a first-class Quality of Service by ensuring strict adherence to policies and procedures as well as recommending areas of improvement.
  • Takes responsibility for the use and upkeep of all company resources issued to field engineers.
Key Deliverables:
  • Quality Execution of Responsibilities with 99.9% Accuracy.
  • Reporting Quality
  • Improving Maintenance standards as seen on state of infrastructure under assigned coverage area.
Minimum Requirements

Education:
  • B.Sc. (or HND) Engineering in Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunication
Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in operations or implementation areas within the telecom environment
  • Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role

Job Title: Field Engineer

Locations:
Abuja, Kaduna, Lagos, Rivers, Enugu, Oyo

Job Description

  • Primary interface for the execution of the all field related obligations of KAP to her customers. In an optimal and most cost effective manner.
Responsibilities
  • BTS Site Passive Maintenance compliance audit.
  • Supervision of contractors carrying out O&M work on sites; ensuring SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, due dates and specifications are strictly adhered to set objectives.
  • Conduct readiness check and acceptance of new BTS site passive infrastructure.
  • Liaising with all necessary parties (client staff or contractors, independent service providers) involved in the mandate execution value chain.
  • Asset inspection, database tracking and validation.
  • Completion of physical site activities of ALL sites assigned within the given timelines.

  • The Administration Officer is responsible for maintaining day to day financial, accounting, administrative and personnel services of KAP.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain financial files and records
  • Establish and maintain supplier accounts
  • Ensure data is entered into the system
  • Administer employment agreements
  • Verify and report on benefits payments
  • Maintain the leave management system
  • Review remittances
  • Supervise completion of the payroll
  • Review payroll reports
  • Manage the filing, storage and security of documents
  • Respond to inquiries
  • Assist with preparation of contract documents
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements

Education:
  • B.Sc. (or HND) Degree.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in similar Job role
