Job Title: Commercial Manager

Location: Lagos

Job description
SCN is a leading producer of master batch. We are currently seeking a commercial manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. The role will be based in Lagos, Nigeria, where the company has been active for over 15 years.

The commercial manager will help oversee company needs, handle daily business issues, manage company associations, and recognize business opportunities. He will be constantly communicating and negotiating with clients and business associates. He will also continuously work to strategically expand the customer’s base and product portfolio.

Key tasks will involve, but will not be limited to:

• Negotiate price lists with customers while ensuring company profitability
• Expand customer’s base
• Offering direction and instruction
• Reviewing, scrutinizing, and developing operational process flows
• Help managing daily operations
• Assisting Managing Director
• Resolving contractual and commercial problems

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum a Bachelor degree in a commercial, financial, or business related field
• Excellent computer skills is a must.
• Focus and thoroughness
• The capacity to be influential and amenable
• Professionalism and cordiality
• Outstanding project management expertise
• The capacity to adequately handle work stress
• Superior management and organisational skills
• Expert negotiating skills.
• Prior industry experience will be beneficial
