Lagos Nigeria - August 6, 2016:
It has come to the attention of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund
(LSETF) that certain individuals, parading themselves as agents of the
Fund, are selling loan assessment and job application forms. These
individuals are fake, devious and are perpetuating criminal activities.
For the avoidance of doubt, please note
the LSETF is not selling application forms or appointed any agent or
agents to sell forms on its behalf.
The Fund’s mission of creating employment and
entrepreneurship opportunities for all Lagos residents, and its vision
of “enabling Lagos residents realize their aspirations by providing
leverage & access to finance” do not align with such unscrupulous
behaviour.
We urge anyone who is approached by these
fraudulent individuals to report their activities to the relevant law
enforcement agencies.
