Job Title: Logistic Officer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive Logistics Officer to expand our fleet by sourcing additional trucks and drivers while managing day-to-day logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage truck owners and drivers to grow the company’s fleet.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with transport partners and vendors.
• Coordinate onboarding, documentation, and compliance checks for new trucks and drivers.
• Ensure all logistics processes comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on fleet status, logistics costs, and operational performance.
• Assist in route planning and optimization to reduce delivery time and fuel costs.
• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams to align logistics activities with overall company goals.
• Monitor fleet availability and ensure adequate trucks are scheduled for operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and track shipment of goods and materials.
• Ensure timely delivery and resolve any operational or delivery challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, truck movements, and driver schedules.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of local transport regulations and documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven experience in fleet management and general logistics operations.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and relationship management skills.
