We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Logistics Officer

Location: Calabar, Cross River
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Logistics Officer will coordinate and manage all logistics, driver supervision, trip monitoring, documentation, and operational reporting at Lafarge Mfamosing, ensuring efficiency and adherence to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily driver deployments, trip allocations, and return schedules.
• Liaise with Lafarge plant authorities to process trip codes, loading instructions, and weighbridge documentation.
• Verify waybills, loading slips, delivery receipts, and other documentation.
• Support technical teams in coordinating repairs and maintenance.
• Work closely with HR/Admin to enforce discipline among assigned drivers.
• Maintain strong relationship with client representatives.
• Monitor drivers’ conduct, compliance with safety rules, and timely escalation of incidents.
• Ensure prompt resolution of operational issues, truck breakdowns, accidents, and client complaints.
• Track fleet movement using GPS/telemetry tools and prepare daily reports.

Requirements

• BSc/HND in Business Admin, Logistics, Transport Management or related field.
• Familiarity with Lafarge operations is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• 3-5 years experience in logistics or transport operations.
• Strong supervisory skills.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
