Job Title: Maintenance Officer
Location: Ughelli, Delta

Job Description

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
• Sourcing and overseeing contracts and service providers for functions such as electrical and mechanical repairs, purchase of raw materials, cleaning, vehicle repairs, security, and technology
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary with authorization from management
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance. Do market survey and price verification of raw materials used for maintenance/ repair
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Monitors, maintains and performs standard repairs to building electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and cooling systems.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
• Advising businesses on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility
• Overseeing any renovations, refurbishments, and building projects
• Oversee the fixing or repair of all official vehicles
• Helping with office relocations
• Ensuring employee and facility safety

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND in relevant fields with 5 - 11 years work experience.
