St Dominic Catholic Hospital is a 64 bed hospital located in Ogungbade off New Ife road Ibadan. St Dominic Catholic Hospital is the vision of Dominican Sisters of St Catherine of Siena (Italy). We offer various medical services such as: General medicine, internal medicine, O & G, Laboratory, Radiology, to mention just a few. The hospital is run in collaboration with foreign partners. We are registered and licensed by the Corporate Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Health. Also, we are accredited by the NHIA as both primary and secondary health care providers.

Job Title: Medical Doctor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

• Responding to patients’ medical problems by referring to their history, carrying out diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and referral, where necessary.
• Promoting health education in conjunction with other health professionals.
• Discussing and evaluating new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives.
• Keeping up-to-date with medical developments, treatment, and medication.
• Ordering lab tests and interpreting the test results.
• Maintaining confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
• Collecting, recording, and maintaining sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports.
• Performing minor surgeries.
• Explaining procedures or prescribed treatments to patients.
• Liaising with other medical professionals in the hospital.

Requirements

• Degree in Medicine (essential).
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
• Great management and leadership skills.
• Current medical license(essential).
• Completed Medical Licensing Examination (essential).
• 2-5 years of experience practicing as a primary care doctor.
• Fantastic counseling and listening skills.
• Superb organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent decision-making skills and communication.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 / month.
