We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Facility Manager
Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Monitors the operations of our residence equipment and systems
and implement effective maintenance schedule required to ensure their
efficiency, improvement and expansions
- Apply professional skills to monitor the purchase, use and
inventories of spear parts, maintenance supplies, and equipments and
initiate reordering when necessary
- Track, analyze and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, schedule compliance etc.
- Source and recommend experienced service providers and ensure timely and successful completion of projects and system set up
- Directs contractors as needed to achieve compliance with
applicable regulations and to complete needed investigation of and
repair to utilities
- Oversee the completion and submission of required monitoring
reports and operating permits to ensure compliance with applicable rules
and regulations
- Ensure that maintenance technicians are adequately trained and
equipped to deliver maintenance services in a safe, timely and cost
effective manner at the residence
- Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program, health and environmental policies and procedures
- Direct Budget preparation and monitor compliance with budget changes-when necessary
- Maintain and ensure effective use of maintenance workshop equipment
Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum of B.Sc/HND in Electrical Engineering.
- 7-15 years hands-on experience and working knowledge/ skills of
basic fields (Carpentry, Electrical and Plumbing) in the hospitality
industry would be an added advantage.
- Communication - Effective written and verbal communication skills that conveys information effectively.
- Good knowledge of hand and power tools.
Job Title: Public Area Cleaner
Location: Lagos
Industry: Hospitality / Leisure / Travels and Administration & Office Support
Responsibilities
- Clean hallways and restrooms.
- Empty ashtrays and urns.
- Polish furniture and fixtures.
- Keep the front of the Residence free from trash.
- Clean rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner , broom and shampoo machine.
- Wash walls and ceilings, moves and arranges furniture.
- Sweep, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
- Dust and polishes metal work.
- Maintain housekeeping carts.
- Responsible for upkeep of all the equipment which he/she is using i.e., Vacuum cleaner, trolleys, Scrubbing machine.
- Responsible for maintaining a time schedule for cleaning of the public areas.
- Responsible for spring cleaning of public areas as per the given schedule
- Responsible for the cleaning of offices
Minimum Qualification
- GCE/NECO/WAEC in not more than two (2) sittings
Job Title: Front Office Porter
Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Handling of parcels
- Upkeep in term of cleanliness of our Front Office
- Luggage handling and storage
- Greetings and welcoming of guests
- Rooming a guests
- Booking of activities
Requirements and qualifications
- At least five credits in GCE/NECO/WAEC in not more than two (2) sittings
- Must have excellent inter personal and people skills
- Must have excellent inter personal and people skills
- Computer Knowledge would be an added advantage
- Must be smart, eloquent and customer centric.
- Must be well groomed.
Job Title: Purchasing Officer
Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Forecast procurement needs.
- Build and develop relationships with key reputable manufacturers/suppliers
- Secure (3 - 5) manufacturers for each product at varying costs and qualities
- Obtain best pricing terms with manufacturers/suppliers
- Obtain best credit facilities, terms of payments and profit margins with manufacturers/suppliers
- Perform a market survey on supplier's prices and products every quarter.
- Review quotations, negotiate prices, delivery terms with our manufacturers and suppliers.
- Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issue purchase orders
in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions.
- Maintain procurement files in orderly fashion and updated by the day.
- Provide price lists and product knowledge materials to Financial Controller from time to time.
- Discuss defective or unacceptable delivered goods with clients,
manufacturers and transporters to determine cause of problems while
taking corrective and preventive action immediately.
- Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships with manufacturers/suppliers.
- Initiate and design department policies & procedures in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products.
- Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials,
parts, supplies and equipments in a timely and cost effective way,
timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and
specifications.
- Develop and review purchase requests and ensure authorization as
necessary to facilitate the timely purchase of the Residence supplies
products.
- Maintaining minimum re-order levels before placing orders
- Gathering market, customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends.
- Checking quantities of goods displayed and those that are in stock.
- Any other duty as assigned by the Financial Controller.
Requirements/Qualification
- OND in Social/Management Sciences
- Required Experience: 5 - 7 years
- Ability to dictate risk areas
- Ability to meet the requirements of the workplace on time
- Ability to ensure that all documents are kept safe and in a retrievable manner
- Ability to relate professionally with members of staff
- Knowledge on Aaccpac I/T application would be an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Title: Store Keeper
Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Receive stocks into various stores
- Make sure the Goods Received Note is raised for every stock that enters the Residence.
- Comparing the Goods Received Notes and the Suppliers invoice to check out discrepancies.
- Checking quality of stocks (i.e. expiring dates, perishability on receiving)
- Make sure that all necessary documentation is raised when receiving goods.
- Updating of Bin cards on a daily basis
- Make sure that stock is kept orderly for ease of checks.
- Notify the relevant departments on re - order levels.
- Make sure stock is ready for stock take.
- Take part in all stock takes of the Residence.
- Communicate Code of Business principles and other requirements to suppliers.
- Attend to any rejections/shortfalls on deliveries.
- Participate in supply audits.
- Compiling reports as and when needed by the Financial Controller.
- Any other duty as assigned by the Financial Controller.
Requirements/Qualification
- Minimum of OND in Social/Management Sciences.
- The successful candidate must have at least three years experience from a reputable hospitality outfit.
- The successful candidate must have excellent command of the English language (which is essential in both written and verbal).
- The successful candidate should be able to dictate risk areas
- The successful candidate should be able to meet the requirements of the workplace on time
- The successful candidate should be able to ensure that all documents are kept safe and in a retrievable manner
