Office Assistant / Cleaner at the International Center for Environmental Health and Development (ICEHD)

International Center for Environmental Health and Development (ICEHD) is a non-governmental, non-profit international organization that fight for the right of women and girls, established in May 2004, and registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission as an incorporated Trustee under part ‘C’ of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990. ICEHD’S registration details are CAC/IT/NO 17758 and Its registered office is situated in Lagos.

ICEHD was started primarily to promote health (especially the health of women and girls), advance socio-economic inclusion and development and empower local marginalized women, girls and vulnerable individuals and communities through education, empowerment and capacity building to confront and participate in the design and implementation of policies, actions, practices and programs that affect their health, development and quality of life.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Office Assistant / Cleaner

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning functions as required, including washing, sweeping, dusting, vacuum-cleaning and polishing.
• Cleans surfaces, including floors, furniture, walls, doors, windows, carpets, curtains, washroom towels
• Maintains and cleans all cleaning equipment utilized;
• Requests for all utilities needed for cleaning early to line Supervisor.
• Ensures that office is constantly running with enough toiletries, washroom, general office and kitchen accessories.
• Empties and cleans waste paper baskets;
• Keeps office rooms, kitchens and toilets clean and hygienic;

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an FSLC with 0 - 2 years relevant work experience.

Salary
N20,000 - N50,000 Monthly.
