Job Title: Planning Services Provider

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Description 

  • Provision of this service will include the responsibility for ensuring that maintenance activities are scheduled for completion by their due date.
  • Currently the SAP Blueprint SME "Super User" with the ability to prioritize the work for the maintenance execution schedule and match the capacities of resources and services to the work. Particularly accountable for ‘managing the backlog’.
  • Develops and publishes integrated work schedules for the execution of all maintenance and minor construction activities (this includes scheduling predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities for the Asset), Produces maintenance work schedules and Preventive Maintenance Routines, calculates manpower availability and implements leveling within relevant operational unit, Utilizes Continual Improvement (CI) techniques and feedback from past scheduling to improve process, Interfaces with technical services, operations and maintenance services, Proactively mitigates emerging constraints and issues in order to maintain robust schedule, Utilizes work schedule database management (SAP, Primavera), Executes regular reviews of backlog of planned work, Generates work schedule performance reports.
  • As part of the provision of work preparation services, service will include diagnoses the cause of the equipment problems determining the scope of activity required to return the equipment back into service by packaging the work to the tasks, disciplines, materials and services to an effective completion, develops integrated work plans and Gantt Charts for allocated jobs including Corrective and Preventative maintenance activities, applies accurate cost and manpower estimating techniques to work plans. This service will be provided to all Onshore Asset Operations.

Supervisory and Interface Management:

  • The Maintenance Supervisor will supervise the provision of this service, and service providers will be required to interface with the Mechanical team, Electrical team, Instrumentation team, Operations Team, Logistics and Warehouse, Capability Management Team, OEM Vendor Representatives and the SAP team.

Accountabilities
Accountable to the Maintenance Supervisor in addition to the following:

  • Daily review of PM requirements
  • Preparation of PM work packs
  • Call out and selection of work orders
  • Preparation of CM works pack.
  • Maintenance execution scheduling
  • Facility Status Reporting (FSR) and Deviation Management

Job Title: General / Civil Maintenance Engineering Services Provider

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Provision of Civil maintenance supervision during execution of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with the approved work cycle plans
  • Provide updated and technical information for all maintained structures.
  • Maintain work history and input to the maintenance management system (SAP).
  • Carry out emergency role (if required) as defined in the Emergency
  • Response Plan and provide dedicated support to the Operations Department during installation, startup and shutdown. This service will be provided Onshore and will include all aspects of Civil Engineering maintenance.

Supervisory and Interface Management:

  • The Civil Engineering Maintenance Supervisor will supervise the provision of this service Onshore and the Onshore Civil Engineering Maintenance team Lead will supervise the services Onshore, and service providers will be required to interface with all other asset teams.

Accountabilities

  • Complying with safe work practices and procedures, and participate to ensure a safe working environment
  • Carrying out emergency role (if required) as defined in the Emergency Response Plan

Job Title: Radio Room Operations Services Provider

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Control Room Operations basically forms the core activity of each production and processing facilities. CROs will need to understand not just what is happening within a piece of equipment, but also how that equipment affects the working of the overall system - and the effect it has on other related systems.
  • This service includes ensuring that export Oil and gas production targets are being achieved at the required specifications by monitoring all process parameters and adjusting the relevant parameters as and when required and also ensure Well Integrity limitations are followed.
  • Ensure proper recording of all relevant events, process data, changes to operating parameters, equipment data etc.
  • Monitor gas export pipeline via DCS/ and report significant changes to the Central Pipeline Control Centre.
  • Provide the Daily Production Report for Management. Co-ordinate and execute well testing as per the proposed Test program.
  • Liaise with outside Operators starting up and stopping plant units as well as individual equipment in a safe way and ensure that these are operated within the design limits.
  • Monitor equipment performance and initiate Work Requests (WR) for the appropriate maintenance discipline when necessary.
  • Production operations involve the management of hydrocarbons (oil and gas) from the reservoir to the initial customer. This means producing, processing and delivering the correct quantity and quality of product, and ensuring that all the production systems are operating in the most efficient way will be the responsibility of the CRO.
  • The production systems are divided into the following subsystems: Wellhead platforms, Oil Process, Gas Process and Power/Utilities Process, hence CROs are expected to start up, control, monitor and shut down these subsystems, to maintain safe operations, and achieve production targets.
  • They are expected to have achieved VQ level three accreditation and to have met the CBD Job.

Experience and Qualification Required

  • Candidates should possess OND / HND / B.Eng Degrees
  • 5 - 8 years’ experience in gas/oil industry at Senior operations level
  • Fully conversant with DCS systems.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and dynamic personality, capable to perform in a work environment, which only provides limited resources.

  • Develop the Yearly SE and AIPSM Plan

Job Title: Corrosion Support Engineer - Level 3 Services Provider

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • To provide material selection and corrosion engineering maintenance management to Assets and Project Teams as a consultant in materials ensuring cost effective material selection and corrosion mitigation strategies which will ensure (technical) integrity of the materials applied in subsurface and surface hydrocarbon production, processing and transportation systems through their life cycle.
  • Support a cost-effective material selection of COMPANY engineering projects during the design phase.
  • Carry out integrity inspections of pipelines, piping, vessels etc and initiate a process to carry out repair of anomaly if found.
  • Initiate MoC process for any identified changes that is not Like for like and manage them via Shell management of change process. Ensure that P&ID are updated
  • Provide M&C discipline support in the Select and Define phases in the delivery of modifications and projects. Key deliverables are the Basis for Design and Project Specification.
  • Support the Identify & Assess phase in the delivery of modifications and projects. This will primarily involve providing M&C discipline input as required into initial scoping and business case development. This requires an effective interface with the Appraisal team within Engineering.
  • Ensure that material selection and corrosion management strategies for oil and gas facilities will provide technical integrity during the projected life cycle.
  • Ensure that HSE matters are given due consideration in the selection of materials and the corrosion mitigation strategy.
  • Ensure materials are selected in line with relevant COMPANY/Shell/ International standards and specifications.
  • Support evaluation and application of new technology in order to optimise future developments in terms of cost and operability. Expand the use of currently used materials where practical to reduce costs and risk of failure.
  • Ensure that the background of the material selection and corrosion management strategies are understood and accepted by other disciplines and are properly documented for future reference.
  • Support the development, review & update standards and specifications as required.
  • Verify contractor’s materials selection reports.
  • Support and conduct audits of relevant manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and materials testing laboratories.
  • Actively train and encourage the development of younger engineers

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or higher in a Materials / Metallurgic related subject.
  • Experience should be a minimum of 10 years in the oil & gas industry, Upstream/Downstream particularly in project execution activities.
  • Significant professional experience in the Metallurgy/Materials discipline.
  • The M&C Engineer is expected to have a sound background in engineering, as well as knowledge in the field of process technology, metallurgy, equipment design, and corrosion degradation modes.
  • Good knowledge of relevant Shell and international engineering standards, best practices, systems
  • Mastery in depth competencies a in material selection (metallic & non-metallic materials), corrosion principles, metallurgy and welding, corrosion protection, corrosion management, pipeline inspection and maintenance, integrity of static equipment, cathodic protection and coating systems.
  • Working experience on part of, or the entire, Project life cycle (from conceptual design through to final commissioning and handover) and/or in the front-line oil and gas production operations is desirable. Broad experience in a multi-project EP company environment.
  • Demonstrated contribution in providing special material solution for Sour service, EOR, steam and/or other specialized recovery techniques.
  • Field experience gathered from a wide range of locations.
  • Ability to quickly establish relationships with practitioners to ensure discipline engineering processes and standards are consistently applied.
  • Aware of & familiar with issues surrounding high pressure and high H2S facilities and have managed staff in a similarly challenging high-risk environment.
  • Experience/qualifications with welding engineering are advantages.
