Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Experience: 1 - 9 years
Qualification: Bachelor Degree, HND, NCE, OND
Job Summary:

• The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth daily operations in the pharmacy. They work under the supervision of the pharmacist to provide safe and efficient pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Accurately label medications and maintain records of prescriptions
• Manage inventory, check expiry dates, and order supplies as needed
• Handle cash transactions and support billing processes
• Answer customer inquiries and provide guidance on
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy
• Assist in health promotion, awareness campaigns, and patient education under the pharmacist's supervision
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technology or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred
• Knowledge of medications, dosage forms, and pharmacy operations
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under supervision
