Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Summary 

  • We are hiring a highly skilled Procurement Manager with strong technical knowledge of industry tools, equipment, and vendor operations.
  • The ideal candidate must have experience with sourcing/procuring internationally and locally. Have list of suppliers /OEM locally and internationally for quick pricing.
  • Must be able to independently interpret RFQs and manage the full procurement cycle with accuracy, speed, and professionalism.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years procurement experience within the relevant industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • RFQ Interpretation & Technical Evaluation. Independently review, interpret, and analyze RFQs, specifications, and technical requirements
  • Identify sourcing needs, prepare accurate pricing templates, and ensure alignment with client expectations
  • Local & International Sourcing: Source products, tools, materials, and equipment from verified local and international suppliers/OEMs
  • Leverage an existing supplier/OEM list to obtain quick and competitive pricing
  • Evaluate suppliers based on quality, compliance, delivery timelines, and cost-effectiveness
  • Procurement Execution & Cycle Management Manage the entire procurement lifecycle: sourcing, pricing, negotiation, purchase order issuance, follow-up, and delivery coordination
  • Ensure timely procurement to meet operational and client deadlines
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, vendor documents, and delivery notes
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly procurement reports
  • Maintain a structured supplier/OEM database for easy access and future sourcing
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchases adhere to company procurement standards, budget controls, and industry best practices
  • Verify quality and specifications of supplied materials before final acceptance
  • Track and monitor order progress with both local vendors and international suppliers
  • Vendor & OEM Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, OEMs, and technical partners
  • Conduct supplier assessments, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure adherence to service-level expectations
  • Cost Optimization & Competitive Negotiation: Obtain multiple quotations for price comparison and cost savings
  • Negotiate optimal pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules without compromising quality

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years proven procurement experience in the Oil & Gas and Marine industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of oil & gas tools, marine equipment, industrial materials, and vendor ecosystems
  • Proven experience in local and international sourcing, including working with OEMs, distributors, and global suppliers
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and reporting abilities
  • Familiarity with import processes, international shipping timelines, Incoterms, and vendor compliance is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and procurement tools/software
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and target-driven.
  • Must have an existing list/database of verified suppliers/OEMs both locally and internationally for quick pricing and fast sourcing
  • Ability to independently interpret RFQs, technical specifications, scope of work, and pricing structures without supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the end-to-end procurement cycle with accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism
  • Excellent negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier evaluation skills

Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
