Job Title: Procurement Officer

Position Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting procurement activities, validating field requests, managing vendor sourcing, and processing purchase orders in line with operational and implementation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Membership or certification from a recognized procurement body (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the telecom or engineering sector.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent vendor relationship management abilities.
• Effective time management and the ability to handle multiple procurement tasks under tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cost control and compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., Navision, SAP, Oracle).
• Proficiency in Sourcing, SBC (Site Build Costing), and PO (Purchase Order) processing.
• Ability to validate field requests accurately and efficiently.
• Skilled in RFQ (Request for Quotation) processing and tender analysis.
