Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Magodo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

Plan, organize, and oversee the entire production process from design concept to final garment delivery.
Collaborate with the design team to develop production plans and schedules based on customer orders and design specifications.
Train and supervise production staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure a productive and motivated team.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.
Collaborate with other departments, such as design, logistics, and sales, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to garment production.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, trims, and other production components.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies, and initiate procurement when necessary.
Manage and allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and machinery, to optimize production efficiency and meet production targets.
Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and resolve any issues or defects.
Implement and enforce production procedures and protocols to ensure consistent quality and production output.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
3 - 6 years work experience.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production challenges and ensure smooth operations.
Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as production management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the fashion industry.
Strong knowledge of garment production processes, including cutting, sewing, finishing, and quality control.
Familiarity with fabric types, trims, and production materials.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
