PTDF Scholarship List of Successful Candidates for PhD Overseas 2016/2017. This is to inform all candidates who participated in the Oral
Interview for the PhD award held between 18th - 22 of April, 2016, that
the list of successful candidates for the award of the 2016/2017 PTDF
Overseas
Scholarship (PhD) has been published.
The breakdown indicates that a total of Eighty (80) candidates
received the award in the PhD category on the basis of two (2)
candidates from each of the 36 States and Abuja, reflecting the Federal
Character principle, and one best performing female candidate from each
of the six geo-political zones of the country on Gender Consideration.
Three (3) highest scoring female candidates from each of the six (6)
geopolitical zones of the country were awarded the scholarship on Gender
Consideration.
It should be noted that some of the beneficiaries of the Scholarship
Award will undergo their Study/Research programmes in some universities
abroad Tuition Free, a fall out of the new partnership arrangement
between PTDF and these institutions on Joint Funding.
