Job Title: Retail Sales Personnel Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

We are in need of a very efficient Sales Personnel with an accounting background.

Responsibilities

Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
Manages financial transactions.
Processes payments by totalling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
Alerts management of potential security issues.
Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
Serves customers by helping them with their products selection.
Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
Responds to customers ‘questions.
Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters.
Provides outstanding customer service.

Requirements

Track record of achieving sales quotas
Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
Excellent verbal and written communication
Great customer service
Willingness to work from alternate store locations when needed.
HND / B.Sc degree in Accounting or any related field
2-3 years’ proven experience as a Retail Sales Personnel in a related industry
Understanding of the retail sales process
Familiarity with consumer behaviour principles
Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
