Sahara Power Group (SPG) is the largest privately owned vertically integrated power company in Sub-Saharan Africa, with plans to expand its generation capacity to exceed 5,000MW by 2026.

Our portfolio includes Egbin Power Plc. (the largest thermal power plant in Sub-Saharan Africa ex.South Africa), FIPL, Afam, Eleme, Trans Amadi and Omoku Plants.SPG successfully acquired majority shareholding stakes in 2 of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) assets under the privatization initiative of the Nigerian Government, namely Egbin Power Plc and Ikeja Electric Plc (one of the largest power distribution companies in Sub-Saharan Africa).

Programme Location
Ikorodu, Lagos:

• The commercial and innovation epicenter. Engage directly with complex power infrastructure and market-leading technology.

Port Harcourt, Rivers State:

• The industrial heartland. Work on the front lines of generation and critical infrastructure in a major energy hub.

Qualification / Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in any core relevant Engineering field.
• 0 – 1 related work experience.
• Must have completed the Mandatory National Youth Service Corps programme (Latest by December, 2025).
