Job Title: Sales and Marketing Executive

Location: Agbara, Ogun
Job Type: Full Time

Main Purpose of Job Role

  • Responsible for actively pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining relationships with current clients as well as building and maintaining relationships with new clients.

Main Duties

  • Conducting market research to generate leads, identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Negotiating/closing deals and handle objections
  • Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person.
  • Developing sales strategies to achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Building and maintaining a CRM database.
  • Creating frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Ensuring the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
  • Participating on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve better results
  • Gathering feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
  • Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints.
  • Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
  • Preparing and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services as required.
  • Managing the sales process through the ERP software programs.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports

Requirements and Skills

  • Minimum of HND / B.Sc in Marketing or related fields
  • Previous experience as a Sales/Marketing Executive or relevant role
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Familiarity with social media and web analytics
  • Creativity and commercial awareness
  • A high level of attention to details
  • Candidate must be living within Agbara or its environs.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service, phone and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs.
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
