Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Legal Manager to join our team in Lagos.
• The successful candidate will provide strategic legal guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage legal risks for our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to senior management and business units on complex legal issues
• Manage legal risks and disputes, including litigation and arbitration
• Develop and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners
• Lead and manage a team of legal professionals
• Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve business objectives
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance and risk management
• Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations, and advise the organization accordingly

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) and a Master's Degree in Law (LL.M) or a related field
• 13 - 15 years of experience as a legal professional, with a strong background in corporate law and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing a team of legal professionals
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian laws and regulations, including company law, contract law, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Salary
N800,000 Monthly
