Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Lagos

About the role

• Indicina’s Technology Team is charged with executing the products that help drive our vision. Today, we are scaling the number of businesses that rely on our products while growing the number of features, integrations, and client use cases.
• In this role, you will work as a Senior Software Engineer within the Technology Department and report to the Engineering Team lead. Full Stack Developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Core Responsibilities

• Developing back-end website applications.
• Developing front-end website architecture.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 5-8 years of software development experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Have strong leadership skills.
• Good DevOps skills.
• Required technologies - Typescript, Some PHP, ExpressJs, NestJs, ReactJs, Laravel, GraphQL, MySQL, Docker, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ. (Prisma, Kubernetes is a plus).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
