VAVA Projects - A fully registered furniture company in the business of manufacturing and sales of furniture and interior decoration, with operations in all the major cities in Nigeria, is currently recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

Job Title: Showroom Sales Representative
Locations: Allen and Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • The Showroom Sales representative is to increase sales, market share, company profitability and customer satisfaction by working with the customers, contractors, architects, designers (and their clients) in choosing from a wide variety of furniture. Our Showroom Sales Associate provides expert product knowledge, selection assistance and customer service.

Job Duties

  • Work with customers in planning and product selection.
  • Possess a professional, knowledgeable, positive and energetic attitude.
  • Maintain client database for follow up purposes.
  • Assist manager in marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain the Showroom as a professional place of business.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Uses strong consultative sales skills and interpersonal skills (both oral and written), attention to detail, strong follow-up skills and motivation to hook the customer.
  • Assist in processing orders, quotations and reserves.
  • Assist with other duties assigned by the Showroom Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification.
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years related experience in sales operations or sales support.
  • Delivers superior customer service.
  • Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), and negotiating skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced Word and Excel skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of tasks.
  • Exceptional communication skills both orally and written with clients in English and Hausa.
  • Knowledge of the interior design community.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques.
  • Demonstrated success in growing sales or generating leads.
  • Stand/walk for duration of work hours.
