We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The Site Engineer will oversee all technical and on-site operational activities to ensure that projects are executed with structural accuracy, quality assurance, and alignment to design specifications.
• The role drives daily supervision, coordination, and project discipline within a fast-growing real estate and construction organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure compliance with structural, architectural, and engineering standards
• Supervise tradesmen, subcontractors, and artisans to maintain quality, timeline, and safety standards
• Conduct regular site inspections, prepare progress reports, and escalate issues requiring technical resolution
• Evaluate drawings, interpret designs, and ensure practical implementation in the field
• Enforce HSE policies and ensure full compliance with safety guidelines
• Support the testing, commissioning, and handover documentation for completed structures
• Verify materials received on site and ensure alignment with project specifications and approved quality benchmarks
• Coordinate closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted workflow

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage multiple contractors
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality delivery
• Minimum of four to seven years of hands-on construction site experience
• Strong knowledge of structural methods, site supervision, and engineering best practices
