University of Ibadan Endowment Fund was incorporated to raise funds and engage in business activities meant to create alternative sources of revenue for the University on a sustainable basis.
The Fund recently developed an international conference centre to serve as destination of choice for conferences, related intellectual meetings and social events. The Centre, which is located in a serene atmosphere close to the university campus at Ibadan, parades state-of the art conference facilities, including a 5,000 capacity conference hall, four other large halls that can seat 500 delegates each and an expansive car park.

To manage the Centre professionally and keep its facilities in top form, the Fund had engaged the services of our firm to recruit a suitably qualified Facility Manager.

Location:Ibadan
Qualification

• The successful candidate would hold a university degree in Engineering, Estate Management, Business Management or related discipline and be a member of a recognized institute of facility management.
• He/She must have acquired a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, with clear evidence of combining maintenance duties with commercial responsibilities.

Responsibilities
The manager will be responsible for managing the complex and keeping its facilities in excellent condition at all times. In addition, the manager will market the facilities and manage the complex as a business enterprise designed to generate profit.
