Job Title: Warehouse & Inventory Store Keeper

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • The main purpose of this position is maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records including list of incoming, stored, and outgoing items.
  • Inspect the purchased items and materials to ensure that it meets technical specifications, quality objectives and deadlines.
  • Administering stock control, and ensure compliance with healthy and safe regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving, sorting, and stocking supplies in warehouse facilities for latter dispatching, and checking that all items on the list are accounted for. Filling in the necessary paperwork and getting an approval to receive supplies
  • Storing items using specialized machinery (e.g. labelers, and special tags); keeping a record of the precise location where every item is stored in order to later secure fast and easy retrieval
  • Checking the status of items that require special storage conditions.
  • Filling in the necessary paperwork and getting approval to retrieve/ dispatch items. Request signing an acknowledgment form for receiving items including department name, specific locations and quantities dispatched.
  • Following pre-established safety procedures in case of accidents or emergencies.
  • Prepare and follow up the ENRRA’s asset’s registered.
  • Administer selling tenders' books; notify purchasing department when items have been received and stored, and regularly update warehouse records to include incoming items.
  • Maintaining storing facilities clean and working in proper conditions.
  • Inspect and evaluate products and supplies according to technical standards and criteria, reporting all discrepancies to the purchasing department.
  • Carries out all other related functions as directed by the Head of Financial Affairs Department.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree with 3 - 4 years experience.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
