Job Title: Wealth Manager / Chief Operating Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description
Strategic Business Operations:

  • Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Write and submit reports to the Senior Management in all matters of importance
  • Assist Senior Management in fundraising ventures.
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.)
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.).

Business Development:

  • Buying and selling financial instruments in client accounts to maintain a specific investment strategy or to reach an investment objective
  • Manage clients' investment portfolios to maximize returns
  • Raise Capital for prospective projects/investments.
  • Discover and close potential investors.

Relationship Management:

  • Provide client consultation to develop investment objectives
  • Provide advice and guidance informed by market conditions and economic trends for investment opportunities to customers
  • Communicate with clients about their accounts, market conditions, and economic trends
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors.

Requirement and Skills

  • B.Sc / BA in Finance, Business Administration, or relevant field; M.Sc / MBA in Finance, investment is preferred
  • 10 years relevant work experience.
  • Proven competency in mutual fund lunching
  • Experience in fundraising will be a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in Chief Operating Office or relevant role
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies and risk management
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
