This post is just for awareness sake. I was touched by the the story of a blogger, Ojo Emmanuel who is behind bars for freedom of speech.


Ojo Emmanuel, was arrested over the weekend for allegedly writing against Gov. Amosu's wife on Facebook.

He was granted bail at the Magistrate court in Abeokuta but was still taken to prison as ordered by Governor Amosun.

We strongly condemn the continuous incarceration of this online blogger - Mr. Ojo Emmanuel Adediran.

What hope do we have as the youth of this nation when we can't voice our opinion out of fear of being imprisoned.

Of what meaning is it to celebrate Nigeria's Independence and freedom day when there really isn't any freedom?
