Vacancy for an Account Officer in an Interior and Logistics Company based in Lagos

A fast growing Interior and Logistics company is recruiting currently suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:     Job Title: Account Officer Location: Lagos Job Description

  • Filing of tax returns and order relevant documents
  • Managing and maintaining the financial accounting system, and all accounting processes including daily accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash collections, and bank & inventory reconciliation
  • Review the weekly/monthly reconciliations to remittance
  • Making Payments to the bank when necessary
  • Recording and Managing vendor payments
  • Stamping and filing of payment documents
  • Ensuring the correctness and integrity of accounting data processing in the excel sheet
  • Carry out audit on office expenses and stock taking of items received from vendors to ensure there no discrepancies.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting
  • 1-2 years relevant experience
  • Relevant qualifications will be an added advantage
