Caregiver Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Caregiver:

  • Proven experience as a caregiver
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ethics
  • Physical endurance
  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking
  • Adhere to health and safety standards
  • Be respectful and compassionate
