Conservation Officer Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Conservation Officer:

  • Graduate degree in environmental, life and urban and land studies.
  • Have good administrative and IT skills
  • Communicate effectively through talks and presentations
  • Produce literature such as leaflets
  • Be confident in leading walks
  • Have some knowledge of geographical information systems (GIS).
