Family Lawyer Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Family Lawyer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law.
  • A license to practice law from the Bar Association.
  • A minimum of x years’ experience in family law.
  • Must be skilled in negotiation, debate and persuasion techniques.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
