Geriatrician Duties & Responsibilities

The role and function of a Geriatrician includes the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and treating illnesses.
  • Referring patients to specialists.
  • Paying attention to the mental and physical health of patients.
  • Providing medical and lifestyle advice.
  • Monitoring the side-effects of medication.
  • Assessing the risks of medications.
