Human Rights Advocate Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Human Rights Advocate:

  • Degree in Law, Social Development, Politics, or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience as a Human Rights Advocate.
  • Ability to contribute to our policy writing efforts.
  • Adherence to governing ethical and legal codes.
  • Unfaltering agreement to promote every human right.
  • Pertinent self-driven or NGO experience is preferred.
  • Thorough grasp of extant human rights and adjacent legislation.
  • Top-notch collaborative, investigative, and reporting skills.
