Intelligence Officer Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of an Intelligence Officer:

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute with specialty in one stream or in Criminal Justice.
Must have completed basic training and gone through the series of training courses, tests and graduate programs that are required for intelligence officers
Excellent understanding of technological advancements
Excellent eye for detail
Be able to remain calm under difficult situations
Must be probing in nature
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and good understanding of the nations’ culture
Must be able to work independently with strong flexibility
