We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Executive

Location: Lagos
Job type: Temporary
Duration: 4-month Renewable Contract.
Hours/Shifts: Mon-Fri (8:00 -4:30pm)

Job Description

• To Manage accounts payable (disbursement, posting, reimbursement and reconciliation)
• To ensure proper records are kept and sufficient supporting documents are maintained to provide for an audit trail

Main Responsibilities / Duties

• Preparation of Monthly invoices and Proforma Invoices
• To raise cheques for authorisation and signature.
• To photocopy and file copies of all invoices and supporting documentation.
• To keep track of costs and produce a periodic report where required
• Preparation of Monthly Cargo Reports and Payment Voucher
• To post invoices and other assigned transactions into Sage software.
• Monthly Reconciliation of Bank Statements
• Any other report that may be required.

Requirements

• Applicants should have initiative, a high level of confidentiality and integrity, proven ability to work independently and to deadlines.
• They must have effective communication and time management skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
• The ideal candidate will be expected to have at least 2 years experience in a financial environment with relevant accounting qualification.
• Spreadsheet skills, knowledge and experience of accounting systems is essential.
• Numeric accuracy and analytical ability is required, strong experience in reconciliation is also essential.
