KUO Fire Safety Limited is a comprehensive fire safety and engineering company with head office in Ghana specializing in branded firefighting equipment, electromechanical services, personal protective equipment, CCTV camera, and burglar alarm systems. We work with an array of companies and institutions across the country and our clients include many top corporations. We have our Nigerian office in Ikoyi Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• As an Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of the company's financial records.
• You will play a critical role in managing day-to-day transactions, maintaining ledgers, supporting compliance efforts, and providing key insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and accurately record financial transactions into accounting systems.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of invoices, receipts, and financial vouchers.
• Prepare and remit and statutory remit statutory payments including VAT, PAYE, and WHT ensuring timely compliance and relevant tax authority
• Track project-specific costs and report on budget performance and services
• Prepare budgeting and forecast
• Prepare bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
• Process vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and follow-up on receivables.
• Compile monthly financial statement data and assist in the preparation of internal reports.

Key Skills and Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.
• Basic understanding of accounting processes and principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., odoo accounting).

Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 Monthly.
