Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The Accounts Officer will be responsible for maintaining financial, accounting, and administrative services in order to meet legislative requirements and support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of the budget
• Implement financial policies and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of income statements
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports
• Ensure Compliance with Statutory Regulations
• Ensure information security and confidentiality at all times
• Ensure daily postings of receipts, invoices and cheque requisition.
• Process supplier invoices
• Collection and lodgement of cheques
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum of 3 years prior work experience in Accounting
• High level of planning & organizational skills;
• High level of initiative;
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy;
• High analytical ability;
• Good investigative skills;
• Good Reporting Skills;
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Effective oral and written communication skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools;
• Detail & Result orientation;
• Proactive problem solver with ability to give accurate feedback;
• Must be able to gather and analyze information;
