Job Title: Branch Manager, Retail / Commercial Banking

Location: Nationwide

Responsibilities

• Successful candidates will be responsible for the management of the branches assigned to them, ensuring growth of the retail / commercial business whilst formulating effective strategies that will aggressively drive the marketing teams towards greater market share and profitability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Banking with at least 4 years on branch management role in retail /commercial banking based market.
• A first Degree or equivalent in any discipline.
• Understanding financial product regulations and the legal aspects of banking.
• Business focused with good all-round knowledge of strategy, marketing, sales, training and people management.
• Excellent people leadership, motivation and communication skills including the ability to engage, inspire and influence others.
• Relevant professional certifications in banking such as ACIB, AMNIM, ACA et.c is an added advantage.
• Knowledge and understanding of Nigerian Retail / Commercial Market.
• Good understanding of policies and procedures, core business process, industry knowledge, audit and fiscal analysis.
