Job Summary

• The brand and marketing executive will be responsible for all marketing strategies and activities within the company. Oversees the marketing department and provides direction and feedback on major projects. Makes key decisions regarding product distribution, budgeting, branding, and sales. Works with other company officers to set the overall direction and objectives for product and service offerings.

Roles / Responsibility

• Acts as the highest-ranking employee in the marketing and communications department
• Research and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information that affects marketing strategies
• Uses research findings and analysis to provide direction regarding upcoming marketing projects, new products or services, and overall strategy
• Identifies areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, and promotional activities
• Generate sales leads through electronic communications such as email campaigns, pay per-click adverts, social media and website optimisation for all products, services and events.
• Liaise with external contacts such as designers, print agencies and editors.
• Maintain and update the internal CRM (contact management) database.
• Post marketing campaign evaluation.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures, data protection and health and safety requirements
• Maintains the department's budget and ensures all marketing activities are cost-effective
• Monitors marketing and sales performance and adjusts strategies as needed
• Manage the production cycle of marketing materials; including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters and email campaigns.
• Write and proofread corporate literature and articles for County Finance and each product. These documents will reflect key messages, features and benefits.
• Manage the marketing database and email distribution list including new subscriptions, opt-outs and bounce backs
• Develop and maximise internet presence, improving search rankings & visibility
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.

Qualification

• HND / BSc in relevant field
• 2-5 years work experience.

Requirement, Skill and Abilities:

• Relevant experience in Marketing and Communication
• Experience or knowledge of social media channels and strategy (not limited to but primarily) Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+ with a demonstrable track record.
• Project management practice.
• Presentation skills.
• Marketing research and analytical experience.
• Experience or knowledge of Digital Marketing especially SEO and Google Adwords.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and people skills
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Superior level of written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft office suite, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
