The British High Commission is recruiting an LE IV plumber to work in our Technical Works Department.
The work will include various plumbing duties within the British High Commission, working both on residential properties and within the British High Commission and UKBA offices. The successful candidate will be working under the direction of the Technical Works Department. General Foreman working hours are 07.30hrs-1600hrs Monday to Thursday and 07.30hrs to 13.00hrs Friday.

Qualities needed
We are looking for a motivated, proactive self starter who is willing to be a major player within the TWG team. The successful candidate will have served a recognised apprenticeship in plumbing and has attended college and gained qualification’s in plumbing.
English written and spoken is a must and the ideal candidate must be able to work as part of a team. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, able to make decisions and capable of working unsupervised.
The successful candidate must have experience in domestic and industrial installations and a have a wide knowledge of industry/domestic regulatory standards. Tools and uniform will be provided.
The job will be graded LEIV with a starting monthly gross salary of N223, 045.00 per month including allowances. This is a full-time position. Successful candidates who are not liable to pay Nigerian tax will be subject to a 10 % notional tax deduction on the basic salary. The salary will be paid Naira.
