Job Summary

• The Business Research Analyst will support the business development team by providing actionable insights through market research, data analysis, and competitor evaluations.
• The analyst will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, understanding market trends, and enhancing client retention strategies to align with RusselSmith’s goals of growth and innovation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Market Research, or related fields. A Master’s degree or certification in data analytics is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience in market research, business analysis, or a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing business needs.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and impactful reports and presentations.
• Familiarity with the Nigerian energy landscape, including regulatory, technological, and sustainability trends.
